Project: process automation and visualization of an „AfAG-plant”

For our further education as technician for automation we carry out a project thesis. In our case we extend and optimize an already existing AfAG-plant (AfAG is the manufacturer of the two available machines). The project become realized in the BBS1-Mainz where also the location of the AfAG-plant is.

​

The topics of the performance evaluation are planning, implementation, documentation and presentation of the results. We will execute this project in a team of 5 members. Every Team member will document his tasks in Blog on this website and update them regularly.

The baseline conditions of the project we took over and the new targets you can read in the specification sheet. We will update this in case of changes.

What does our name „S & P Delivery“ mean? The S & P stands for „Spices & Pipes“ and results from the both manufacturing parts of our plant. One of them produces pipes and the other fills salt and pepper in dispenser. The “Delivery” stands symbolically for our business venture which buys the basic material for pipes and different spices and deliver them according the orders in our system to the customer.
